Course Description
Intern doctors participate in seminars, field rotations, educational trips and training aiming to increase the health consciousness of the community during their internship. Under the guidance of the internship faculty member, a seminar on the topic of public health is prepared and presented to risky groups. The objective of this internship is to give basic concepts of public health and practices; information about the health status of the country and health system, epidemiology, preventive medicine and information about the legal arrangements of primary health care services, to gain knowledge and skills about the duties of the physician as a team manager in management of primary health care services and to learn public health approach in the determination and resolution of problems.
