- Program Description
-
The role of an anesthesia technician is to assist the authorized anesthesiologist in anesthesia procedures in the healthcare sector, participate in patient preparation, and remain in the operating room closest to the patient throughout the procedure. Anesthesia program graduates are trained to be intimately familiar with the patient, their illness, the medications to be used, and their conditions. Our graduates who serve on the anesthesia team are paramedics. Our training program aims to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills in this regard. It is crucial to train technicians who can prepare patients before surgery, support the anesthesiologist during surgery, and monitor and supervise patients postoperatively. In addition to advanced anesthesia machines and various anesthesia techniques, students are also taught about sterilization and emergency patient care.

Prospective students who are TRNC citizens and Turkish citizens who have completed their entire high school education in the TRNC are placed in undergraduate programs based on their success in the CIU Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam and their preferred programs.
