The Business Administration Program educates students to become successful individuals who can contribute to the development of the country; adapt to the competitive environment; have an analytical and observer frame of mind; are equipped with the required professional knowledge and skills; and have good communication skills. The program makes a major contribution to the business world by raising students with the qualities that will provide them with the ability to shape their future by understanding the general process mechanisms of businesses. Students choose this program in order to be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills in the areas of economy, society and technology and start their professional lives one-step ahead.

At Cyprus International University, full-time students can be exempted from some courses within the framework of the related bylaws. If the content of the course previously taken in another institution is equivalent to the course offered at CIU, then the student can be exempted from this course with the evaluation and proposal and the approval of the Institute of Graduate Studies after the evaluation of the course content.

Program Educational Objectives
• While focusing for acquiring extensive integrated knowledge and accomplish growth on basic business concepts and deep understanding on the business landscape, the program targets to ensure execution of these theoretical formation in practical situations based on Critical reflection of social and global environment of business.
• Furnishing students with critical and creative skills while directing them to understand and advance communication skills, deep understanding on group dynamics, judge the needs of human resources and the proper leadership style for this form.
• A clear understanding of basic organizational structure, strategic thinking as well as day to day operations, short and long term decision making models and skills, basic management, leadership, motivation concepts.
• Provide students with concepts such as operations strategy, inventory management and quality management, techniques and tools to design, analyze and improve operational capabilities of an organization.
• Taking the perspective of management as the vantage point, to be able to explore and understand the links of effectiveness and efficiency to the organizational structure, management and leadership. A broad and rooted understanding after analyzing basic dimensions of business organizations, organizational life cycle and organizational change, necessity and inevitability of it, and how to initiate it.
• Embed a robust dedication for environmental issues, deep understanding on social responsibility, applying ethical responsibility, ready for productive collaboration and solid devotion to basic human rights
Program Profile
The curriculum has been prepared by considering the effects of economic, social and technological developments in businesses. In this context, the students are taught micro and macro economy formation and learn to recognize the behavioral sciences related to individuals and society. Students learn the processes of production, marketing, finance, human resources, accounting, research and development and public relations, and how they apply to businesses and the strategies practiced in these areas. Courses are taught in English, and students also have the option to take elective language courses such as German, French, Italian and Russian, allowing them to receive preference in the environment of global competition. In addition to theoretical knowledge, the program provides students with the opportunity to assimilate topics better, by giving examples from daily events through organizing talks by successful managers and business entrepreneurs or arranging company visits. The academic staff makes special use of the most up-to-date information and communication technologies.

Graduation Requirements
In order to graduate from the undergraduate program, it is necessary to succeed in all of the courses listed in the curriculum of the program by getting the grade at least D/ S with a minimum 240 ECTS (165 in national credits) and completed 2 summer training in a specified duration and quality and to have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 out of 4.00

Qualification Requirements And Regulations
The students studying in this undergraduate program are required to have a Cumulative Grade Points Average (Cum. GPA) of not less than 2.00/4.00 and they are expected to pass all the required courses without having the grades; F, D- and U. The minimum number of ECTS credits required for graduation is 240. It is also mandatory for the students to complete two compulsory summer training in a specified duration and quality.

TR Applicants
TR Students who are successful in the exams conducted by the Higher Education Council Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) and are entitled to enroll in our university in line with their preferences can complete the registration process with the necessary documents for registration from our Registration and Liaison Offices throughout Turkey or from the Registrar's Office on campus.
TRNC Applicants
TRNC citizens and TR citizen candidate students who have completed their entire high school education in TRNC. They are placed in undergraduate programs in line with their success in the CIU Student Placement and Scholarship Ranking Exam and the programs they prefer.
Students who are successful in the exam can register from the TRNC Marketing Office.
International Applicants
International applicants can directly apply online to our undergraduate programs using the application portal.
