Program Description

Economics is a social science that encompasses not only the entire process from production to consumption but also examines areas such as trade, distribution, imports, and exports. The history of economics began with the inception of human economic activities. The Department of Economics enables the monitoring, observation, and auditing of the economic transactions of governments, companies, and institutions; it also facilitates the derivation of meaningful insights from these transactions to achieve effective results in sales and marketing. The department aims to teach university students the fundamentals of economics and analytical techniques. Furthermore, it seeks to impart basic economic and analytical methods while enhancing students' skills in research, analysis, and the evaluation of findings. The Department of Economics also offers master's degree programs with and without a thesis requirement.
