Course Description
The objective of this course is to give clinical experience to medical students in ophthalmology including introduction to ophthalmology and ophthalmic examination, retinal diseases, refractive disorders, physiology of the visual system, ocular trauma and emergency, ocular motility problems and amblyopia, acute red eye, diseases of conjunctiva, optic nerve disorders and visual pathways, diseases lens, orbital and lacrimal system, uveitis and Behçet’s Disease, glaucoma, outpatient clinic observation and operating room observation. This course also includes infant and pediatric primary eye and vision care and topics related to infant vision assessment, pediatric visual acuity testing, pediatric binocular vision assessment, ocular disease in children.
