Course Description

The objective of this program is to give clinical experience to medical students in ear nose throat disease including ear anatomy, physiology, auricula and external ear canal diseases, conductive type hearing loss, upper airway obstructions, tracheotomy and adenoid diseases. This program also includes sleep apnea, sensorineural hearing loss, larynx anatomy, physiology, larynx diseases, tumors, vocal cord paralysis, foreign bodies, nasal anatomy, physiology, nasal diseases, endoscopic examination, neck anatomy, neck masses, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, pharynx and oral cavity anatomy, pharynx and oral cavity diseases, tumors, maxillofacial trauma, epistaxis, vertiginous diseases, meniere, disease, otosclerosis, tinnitus, audiological tests, salivary gland anatomy, physiology, diseases, facial nerve. Otorhinological infectious diseases such as rhinitis, sinusitis, tonsil and otitis media are also included in this program.
