Course Description
This program focuses on the principles of protecting child health and treating childhood diseases. It is aimed to teach nutrition, vaccination, growth, and development monitoring, which play an important role in the protection of child health. Clinical examination and follow-up of pediatric patients, various signs and symptoms in pediatrics, and changes of signs according to age will be reviewed. The training will be mainly done with patient scenario analysis and bedside applications. Students will know the general aspects of approaching pediatric patients, adopt the principles of preventive health care in them, and will be able to diagnose and treat common diseases of childhood. Neurological, nephrological, hematological and endocrinological diseases in childhood also included in this course.
