Course Description
The objective of this course is to give clinical experience to medical students in urology including introduction to urology, definitions and terms, urinary system stone disease, renal tumors, benign prostatatic hyperplasia, intrascrotal masses and acute scrotum, congenital urinary system anomalies, urodynamics and urinary incontinance, male infertility, female and male sexual dysfunction such as erection problems. Urologic cancers in the organs of the urinary tract, and the male reproductive tract such as kidneys, ureter, bladder, urethra, and in men the penis, prostate and testicles also included in this program. This course also includes specific caused by common infectious microorganisms and nonspecific urinary system infections.
