Course Description
Internal Medicine interns will participate in patient transfer visits: active daily participation of the interns in the clinical and laboratory discussions regarding the patients transferred in the department of internal medicine. Participation of the intern doctors in the teaching and training program that are held on particular days and hours within the internship of internal medicine. By the end of internship in the internal medicine, they know how to approach healthy and ill adults, adopt protective health services, make diagnoses and differential diagnoses on the illnesses seen in adults, are able to provide appropriate treatment on level one and are able to provide suitable conditions to patients who require to be transferred and transfer them to a higher medical institution.
