Course Description
During the internship, every intern doctor is on duty between 8 and 10. They take active part -within the supervision of the on-duty doctor- in the monitoring, treatment and maintenance procedures of the hospitalized patients, the preparation of the new inpatient, the ambulatory care, emergency patient assessment, inpatient consultation evaluation and evaluation of burn patient and care, preop-postop patient follow-up, catheter follow-up and evaluation, vein path opening, arterial blood gas evaluation, case presentation, foley catheter insertion, epicrise writing, nasogastric catheter insertion, local anesthesia application, primary tube application, surgical operation assist, wound, simple surgical intervention, sampling for culture, prescribing, application of rectal touch, X-ray evaluation, enema application.
