Course Description
It is aimed to make the knowledge, skills, and attitudes that medical education attained in preclinical and clinical education periods be applicable in emergency health service delivery areas. For this purpose, the students fulfill the duties and responsibilities defined for the internship period in accordance with the working principles and rules under the supervision of the responsible faculty member/s who are acknowledged experts in the emergency service. They will learn the approach to all emergency conditions. The students will learn how to do the application of emergency surgical procedures such as chest tube, tracheostomy, LP, blood gas collection and intubation. The plaster and bandage applications for general orthopedic problems, and wound suturing are included in this program.
