Course Description
This course is the continuation of GER 201 and is designed to improve the students’ both receptive and productive language skills. It will also enable the students to understand phrases and vocabulary that they will hear and communicate in real-life situations and contexts and they will practise and use the gained vocabulary and phrases in personalized contexts. Students will comprehend the verbs in the dative case and the demonstrative pronouns in this form. It will also enable them to acquire the prepositions in the dative case and changing forms of articles regarding this case. Moreover, this course will present the use and different forms of the question word “Welcher”, ordinal-numbers and date-writing, use of personal pronouns in the accusative form and comparative forms of adjective.

Course outcomes
- 01 By the completion of the course the students should be able to do the following:1-be able to process necessary verbs in dative case and their conjugation and construct sentences relating them to given situations
- 02 2- be able to categorise personal pronouns in the accusative case and reflect them on their personal situations.2- be able to catch the main point in short clear messages.
- 03 3- be able to express themselves using comparative and suprlative forms of adjectives and integrate them into their personal situations. -be able to read short, simple text and find specific, predictable information from eveyday materials.
- 04 4- be able to construct sentences based on the question words "Welche" depending on the definite article of the noun. -be able to communicate and exchange information.
- 05 5- be able to differentiate the prepositions according to the dative case.
