Course Description

The aim of the course is to let students create typographic designs with the theoretical information gained in GRAP 107 Lettering and Introduction to Typography and to examines advanced applications of the studies completed in Typography I. Explore the use of typography in layout and design, complete advanced typographic techniques, describe various classifications of letterforms, discover typography sources and resources, proof for content and design, use advanced typographic terminology, design and typeset multi-page layouts, Requires projects based on professional level problems designed to test the student’s practical knowledge as well as his or her creative ability and requires to complete them within deadlines and specifications.
