Course Description
The travel industry is one of the five key sectors within the broader tourism industry. Travel agencies and tour operators play a significant role in the growth and development of this sector. This course aims to explore the history of travel while providing a comprehensive overview of travel agencies and tour operators and their contributions to the tourism industry. Students will learn about the evolution of tour operations, the organization and marketing of package tours, reservation processes, and the administration of tour operations. The primary objective of this course is to equip students with fundamental skills for managing tour and travel operations, along with an understanding of the core principles governing travel agencies and tour operators.
