Course Description
This course examines the principles and theories of adult learning with a focus on the role of technology in adult education. Topics include adult psychology, learning characteristics, and major educational theories such as behavioral, humanistic, cognitive, affective, and neurophysiological approaches. Students explore adults’ attitudes toward innovation and their resistance to technological change, along with strategies to overcome such challenges. The course emphasizes the use of information technologies in planning and implementing adult training programs. It also discusses motivational factors, self-evaluation, communication, and reinforcement in adult learning. By integrating theory and practice, students learn how to design technology-supported educational environments that address adults’ needs, interests, and learning styles.
