Course Description
Literature studies in periodicals and manuals on folklore sources. Determination of the development and system of folklore in the historical process by explaining the concepts of folk and folklore. An examination of folkloric formations, common cultural values and their spreading-transformation processes in the universal framework during the periods when individuals did not begin. Transmission of opinions about the history and function of folklore from domestic and foreign sources. Investigation of folklore methods from historical, geographical, sociological and psychological viewpoints. The historical development of Turkish Folklore, the completion of biographical and documentary researches of contributions of foreign folklore in the first studies to Turkish Folklore. Practice of contemporary theories of folklore. Theoretical and practical studies on the qualifications, methods and conditions of the compilation. Experimental applications on technical and subjective problems of field compilation. A comparative study of the folklore staff from the beginning to the present day.
