Course Description
The concepts of mental health and illness. Theories about mental health. Relation of mental health and developmental period. Child and adolescent mental health, family mental health definitions.Child mental health and mental development characteristics. The effects of parental attitudes on child mental health. Healthy and unhealthy parental attitudes. Divorce, loss of parent and absence of parent, effects on child mental health. The role of care and education in healthy psychosocial development. Psychological problems in childhood.Mental health and developmental characteristics of the adolescent. The effects of parental attitudes on adolescent mental health.
