Course Description

Within the scope of guidance and counseling course students will be able to learn basic concepts and principles of counseling and guidance, history of counseling and guidance, research and evaluation methods used, psychological counseling process, roles and functions of psychological counselors, psychological counseling theories, psychological counseling And the ethical and legal issues in guidance, as well as the essentials of the field of counseling and psychological counseling. Students will take more detailed courses on each subject or topic they will see in the course of this course and find out the opportunity to learn more about the other lessons on the basis of the information they have learned in the course. P01 Demonstrate an understanding of the core subfields of psychology — including but not limited to clinical, developmental, cognitive, social, and biological/neuroscientific psychology — and their interconnections with other scientific disciplines, critically evaluating the value of a multidisciplinary approach to scientific inquiry in psychology.
