Course Description
This course included the subjects; such as Characteristics of mental health, definition, importance, historical development, theories about mental health, periods of mental development, behavior and adjustment problems in children, special situations within the family, parental attitudes, other factors affecting mental health, infancy, childhood and adolescence Depression in childhood and adolescence, youth age and problems, intergenerational conflicts. Course teaches the subject above in order to help the child and adolescent to develop their spiritual development, parents, teachers, and child development workers must know their personality traits that they will develop according to their lifetime. Child and adolescent mental health services provide preventive mental health services by helping normal children and adolescents to identify healthy ways of development, adaptation and success.
