Course Description

Definition of learning difficulty. Symptoms of learning difficulty. Classification of learning difficulties, reasons of learning difficulty.The classification of learning disability in the classroom environment, organizing classroom in accordance with the child's type of learning disability. Planning and conducting guidance and psychological counseling services for students with learning disabilities, their families and teachers.Learning strategies; Visual learning, Activities related to children with visual perception problem, Auditory learning, Activities related to children with auditory perception problem.To be able to prepare a treatment program to increase the academic and social development of students with learning disabilities.Responsibilities to be taken in preparation of individual training plan. School, family, school psychological consultant cooperation. Assessment of children with learning disabilities; Test and non-test evaluation techniques.
