Course Description

This course provides prospective teachers with opportunities to observe and practice field-specific teaching methods and techniques. It focuses on planning and conducting lessons independently, developing teaching materials, managing the classroom, and engaging in assessment, evaluation, and reflection. Students analyze subject-specific curricula, prepare lesson plans, and design instructional activities and materials. The course includes classroom observations of mentor teachers, students, and school administrators at the practicum school, followed by written reports, presentations, and discussions. Candidates are also expected to prepare appropriate assessment tools aligned with learning outcomes and to plan, implement, and evaluate extracurricular activities that support students’ holistic development.
