Course Description

Traditional children's play in folklore, educational and cultural values of play , recalling the forgotten plays in Turkish culture; analysis of these plays , definition of these plays, precaution, rules, traditional children's plays which is played with adults and groups; the influence of traditional play on children's development; evaluation of child-centered games; adapting non-child-centered play as child centered played; planning and implementing these plays; using creative methods to make traditional children's plays accessible to children; using informative methods for families; using traditional children's plays as an assessment tool for child development; traditional child play to compare children's play commonly used today.
