Course Description
The aim of this course is to teach primary and general treatment protocols in specific sports injuries; to define the pre-treatment principles of the upper and lower extremities, trunk, pelvis, sacrum injuries; to create a physiotherapy program in subacute period; to make a detailed assessment and plan the specific appropriate exercise prescription to comeback sports in chronic period. Ligaments and ligament injuries, fractures, muscle strains and tears, preoperative and postoperative physiotherapy practices, and providing communication between athletes and coaches, have information about complications that could arise in early return to sports in athletes, identification programs to restore the athletes for the pre-injury performance, increase physical fitness, raising awareness among the topics of improvement the physical fitness level and prevention potential new injuries in athletes take place in the scope of this course.
