Course Description

The aim of this course is to teach the evaluation and application of exercise systems specific to the age of adolescence and the child's condition, considering the growth and development processes of children. In the course content; classification of exercise for children and planning of therapeutic exercise programs, differences in exercise principles in children and adults, problem solving in different disorders determined in line with basic assessment and measurement methods, creating an exercise program, supporting child development with the exercise, postural control and spinal stabilization, stretching, relaxation and strengthening exercises, teaching the child to exercise, physical activity principles in children, physical activity program in protective and special situations, creating exercise prescription for children and planning group exercise training will be taught.
