Course Description

In neonatal period, neuromotor evaluation and early physiotherapy, family education, cardiopulmonary evaluation and physiotherapy are considered in infants in risk group. The student learns the definition of risky and high risk infants and the babies that constitute the risk group; Recognizes physiotherapy and rehabilitation needs of infant with risk of neonatal period; Knowledge of early physiotherapy and rehabilitation related to neuromotor assessment and positioning, special retention techniques and family education in a group of risky infants; Cardio-respiratory problems in a group of neonatal risk infants, knowledge of such problems; Neonatal risky baby has knowledge about early cardiopulmonary physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the gray. It is aimed to teach neonatal term terminology, risky infant, neuromotor evaluation, early physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches, family education, cardiopulmonary evaluation, cardiopulmonary physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches in general frame.
