PULMONARY REHABILITATION

Course Description

In this course; the definition and the principles of pulmonary rehabilitation, purposes and application techniques of chest physiotherapy, the evaluation of respiratory diseases in terms of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, planning of physiotherapy and rehabilitation program, physiotherapy approaches and related methods in intensive care unit are aimed to gain. Basics of respiratory physiology and respiratory diseases, the steps of the pulmonary evaluation, the ability to make decisions about physiotherapy and rehabilitation of the respiratory system diseases, evaluation of the quality of life and psychological status of patients with respiratory problems, therapy techniques used in pulmonary rehabilitation - breathing exercises, huffing, cough, dyspnea positions, manual techniques, active cycle of breathing techniques, pulmonary rehabilitation after surgery will take place in the scope of this course.
