Course Description

The objective of the course is to provide students with basic level of information on all Physiology subjects. Digestion- excretion-endocrine-metabolism- genital physiology. Circulatory and respiratory system, digestive system, endocrine system, reproductive system and describes the basic concepts and important physiological mechanisms for reproductive physiology. And kidney function, respiratory system, endocrine system, hormones, liver function, insulin-glucagon mechanism, metabolism, gastrointestinal tract, urinary system, skin physiology, structure of the eye and visual pathways, physiology of hearing, smell physiology, sensory physiology will be studied in detail; It will be supported by practical application. In some subjects such as cell structure it is aimed to increase the students' interest and knowledge with practical application.

Course outcomes

  1. 01 Have a basic knowledge about gastrointestinal system physiology.
  2. 02 Will be able to define the basic knowledge about endocrine physiology.
  3. 03 Will be able to define the basic knowledge about excretory physiology.
  4. 04 Will be able to relate the importance of the response to the perceived changes between the body's internal and external environment and through sensory organs.
  5. 05 Explain the physiology and mechanism of pain.
