Course Description
This course approaches human movement as a holistic system in which physical, physiological, and psychological dimensions are deeply interconnected. The primary objective is to enable students to cultivate a profound awareness of their own bodily sensations and movement capacities, thereby optimizing movement quality on both functional and existential levels. Within the scope of the curriculum, the mechanical use of the body, individual movement behaviors, and the interactional processes established with oneself and the environment are examined in detail. Guided by the principles of Basic Body Awareness Therapy (BBAT), the course emphasizes enhancing postural stability, developing balance skills, and ensuring the efficient use of respiratory capacity. Additionally, the course provides techniques to normalize daily muscle tension, promoting a healthier and more conscious range of motion. Total 56 hours was studied.
