Course Description

The aim of this course is to explain the pain theories, to teach the patient assessment based on the theories and the different physiotherapy approaches, to provide information about the multidisciplinary approaches, to explain the relation between the algology and physiotherapy. At the end of this course student can explains the pain theories, assess the patient according to pain theories, explains the physiotherapy approaches on specific pain theories, the multidisplinary approaches on pain and the algology, lists the relations between the algology and physiotherapy, applies the learned physiotherapy approaches on patients with pain. The main subjects are description on pain, pain theories, evaluations the patients with pain, approaching the patients with pain, the physiotherapy approaches on pain, physiotherapy in algology.
