Course Description
Introduction to Biostatistic will be done with the definition of statistics and biostatistic. Students will learn in which study areas this science is used. Data types and collection methods, together with the types of data analysis will be studied by the students. Initially, descriptive studies will be described and using different data types these descriptive analysis will be practiced. The module will give information regarding graphics and tables; and the importance of these in biostatistics. Different data series will be given to students and they will be taught on producing graphics and tables using the given data series. Probability distributions will be studied and using example datasets probability calculations will be made. Finally, regression and correlation topics will be demonstrated to students.
