Course Description

This course offers students the ability to explain the risk to patient safety in health institutions, measures need to be an effective way how to be explained can be applied and conditions pose a risk to patient safety aims to be able to explain how it can be managed effectively. our students this goal in accordance with the basic concepts related to patient safety, patient safety developments in the world, the situation regarding patient safety in Turkey, risk analysis, identification and evaluation of medical error concept and dimensions of medical errors and adverse events, financial dimensions of medical errors, medical errors legal aspects, prevention of medical errors and adverse events, evaluating with the patient and staff safety, patient safety case studies, patient site visits regarding safety practices aimed to gain knowledge and skills in the subject.
