Course Description

This course introduces students to understand the historical development of nursing , nursing -related laws and regulations , information on ethical principles and the right to acquire the skills of ethical decision. Students with the course; . explain the concept of ethics and philosophical basis, define the basic concepts of ethics and nursing ethics, explain nursing philosophy and nursing values, discuss nursing ethic codes, discuss the rights of patients with legal and ethical aspects, explain the historical development of human rights, explain the historical development of patient rights, discuss the rights and responsibilities, explain ethical issues and ethical decision-making process, recognize the ethical problems, make suggestions to solve the ethical problems, explain the risk groups that can cause ethical problems.
