Course Description
Biochemistry students will be introduced to basic concepts related to biochemistry, chemistry of living things, structure and properties of biomolecules and metabolism. General properties and classification of amino acids, individual structure and body in the function of amino acid structure and function of proteins, enzymes, protein metabolism, carbohydrate structure and function, metabolism of carbohydrates, the main features of the functions and classification of lipids, lipid metabolism, manager molecules the structure and function of nucleic acids, hormones and mechanisms of action in the body, relationships with the disease, vitamins and biochemistry of body fluid and acid-base balance of the body will be explained following these issues. Finally, students will be informed about biochemistry of metabolic diseases, kidney and liver function tests.
