The definition and purpose of the course; The concepts related to infection, infectious disease and infectious nursing include the frequency of infectious diseases, diagnosis, treatment, complications and nursing care which are frequently seen according to the systems. ınfection and disease; ıdentification of infectious diseases; prevention of infectious diseases; epidemiology of infectious diseases features of infectious diseases agents and infection chain; microorganisms; antimicrobial agents; hospital infections, isolation and infection control; airborne diseases and control; water and foodborne diseases and control; blood-borne diseases and control; skin and mucosal-transmitted diseases and their control; vector and zoonoses-infected diseases and control; notifiable diseases and nursing care; childhood infectious diseases and nursing care; general descriptions of infectious diseases and nursing approaches; hospital care principles in contagious diseases; hospital infections and isolation methods.
