Learning Outcomes

  1. L01 The Fundamentals of Nursing course introduces students to the basic concepts, principles, and skills essential for professional nursing practice. It focuses on the nursing process, patient-centered care, health promotion, disease prevention, infection control, communication, ethics, legal responsibilities, and evidence-based practice. Students develop fundamental clinical skills, including assessment, hygiene, mobility, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, documentation, and patient safety. The course integrates theoretical knowledge with laboratory and clinical experiences to prepare students to provide safe, competent, and compassionate care to individuals across the lifespan in a variety of healthcare settings.
