COMMERCIAL LAW-I (COMMERCIAL BUSINESS)

Course Description

In this course, basic principles of commercial law such as commercial enterprise, and protection of trade name are discussed. In the first part of the course, importance and function of commercial ledgers and their evidentiary value are analyzed. In addition, within the scope of the concept of unfair competition, sanctions foreseen in the law are examined that determine the practices causing unfair competition among enterprises. In the second part of the course, concepts of current account, ordinary and total profits are explained. In the third part of the course, valuable documents such as checks, bills and bonds are briefly examined. Finally, the course introduces concepts of trade registry and commercial books, commercial business assistants, and various intermediaries.
