Course Description

This course aims to examine styles, fashion, and design movements in the field of interior architecture within historical, cultural, economic, and social contexts. The course covers design styles from different periods, current fashion trends, aesthetic approaches, and the influences of these concepts on interior design. Students analyze the concepts of style and fashion in relation to user behavior, cultural transformations, economic factors, and social dynamics. The role of styles and fashion trends in concept development, spatial identity formation, and creative design processes in interior architecture is evaluated. In addition, students are expected to follow contemporary design movements, critically evaluate current approaches, and utilize different design perspectives in developing original design ideas.
