Course Description
The relationship between vision and perception, the physical nature of vision and the perception of the physical and psychological sense is the subject of this course. Visual perception also adds features such as understanding and comprehension of the vision action. According to Gestalt theory, the perception of the whole, the comprehension of part-whole relation and the perception of organizing elements are examined. Also, the perception of memory, the importance of the memory and the cultural background is a review of example studies. The course plan, which starts on a conceptual and theoretical basis, continues with students' practice and case studies. The effects of perception manipulation in art and communication are researched historically. The effect of time is examined for our period.
