This course comprehensively examines core concepts, tools, and international standards related to quality management, patient safety, and accreditation in healthcare organizations. Building on management theories, the curriculum covers Total Quality Management principles, risk management, and the prevention of medical errors. Students explore international accreditation and standard frameworks, including ISO, EFQM, and JCI, while gaining practical insight into performance improvement methodologies such as Lean Management, Six Sigma, Benchmarking, and the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). The course equips students to measure, audit, and implement effective quality management systems in healthcare services.
