Course Description

The aim of this course is to prepare the students mentally to the design discipline. First of all, the non-verbal communication will take place within the images. Students should understand, know and position the design discipline in a correct way. In this course photography, drawing and illustration are the techniques for establishing the image and meaning relationship. It is aimed to study in an experimental method while matching and comparing the images and concepts. Students should create meaning by the images using the methaphor, analogy and juxtaposing.
