Tests are used in clinical, educational and vocational settings, with the aim of planning, selection, placement etc. Gaining a deep understanding of these issues is a professional and ethical responsibility for psychologists. Historical basis of testing, approaches and techniques involved in test development, standardization process, reliability, validity estimation methods are the main topics of the course. In addition, tools for measuring intelligence and personality along with assessment in clinical, counseling and educational settings are discussed. İnformation for developing a simple psychological scale will also be studied.
