Course Description

Recognizing the functions of visual arts education in terms of mental and emotional aspects, determining the level of development of students according to the stages of graphical development, reading children's picture, making children love visual arts and expressing themselves through art; application of art activities in the context of art history, art criticism and aesthetic disciplines; differentiation in visual, auditory and tactile perception, learning through art and development of creativity. Historical process in art education, necessity and function of art education. Relationship with art and other disciplines. Art theories on the basis of history of thought. Visual language of art. Learning through art and creativity. Design education in primary education. Stages of artistic development of the child. Visual arts education and multiple intelligence theory. Evaluation of works of art.
