DRAMA IN PRIMARY SCHOOL

Course Description

Definition and meaning of drama; psycho-drama, creative drama, educational drama, socio-drama etc. concepts; relationship between drama and play; history of drama practices in education; the structure of drama in education and its application stages; drama environment and teacher qualifications; evaluation of drama; drama examples appropriate to the educational purposes of the field, developing and applying examples. The importance of play, the relationship between drama and play, the importance of drama, drama tools and materials, drama principles and stages (warming, mainstreaming, practice, discussion and evaluation). Types of drama activities (dramatization, dramatic play, warm-up exercises, plays, improvisations, subject-based drama, sensory and movement games, story creation, relaxation exercises, games to establish, dream and life games, pantomime, puppet)
