ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION

Course Description

Basic terms and concepts related to environmental science. Basic ecological concepts and principles, ecosystems, food chains, food network, habitat, competition; common living and mutual living, energy flow, circulation of matter, population growth, ecological impact, erosion, soil and water resources, environmental sensitivity, environmental sensitivity studies in the world, institutions and organizations; environmental education in primary school programs. Food chain and food network. Ecological effect. Water and nature resources. Ecological issues and problems. Environmental awareness. The world's major eco systems: terrestrial eco systems (forests, scrub, meadows, deserts), aquatic eco systems (marine water eco systems, river ecosystems, still water eco systems).
