Course Description

Science, philosophy, scientific method; Ancient Greece, Medieval Europe, Scholastic philosophy and science; Science and philosophy in the Islamic culture geography; Science in Mesopotamia; Science and philosophy in Renaissance Europe; science and philosophy in the age of enlightenment; classification of sciences; science, science (science), ideology, ethics and religion relations; science and paradigms; Vienna and Frankfurt schools of thought; science and ethics in philosophy and science, the importance of philosophy and science in life, science, and ethics. The course aims to teach the Far Eastern civilizations, Middle East civilizations, Islam and Turkish civilization, Western civilization as the sources of world civilizations, science and ethics in the direction of the main subjects of philosophy, emphasizing the importance of philosophy in human life, addressing the role of science in philosophical aspects, development of philosophical thought, basic issues of philosophy and problem areas.

Week 2 İlk uygarlıklarda bilim.
Week 3 Eski Yunan'da ilk bilimsel düşünce ve çalışmalar.
Week 4 Platon ve Aristoteles'in bilim anlayışları ve çalışmaları.
Week 5 Helenistik Çağ'da ve Roma'da bilim.
Week 6 Ortaçağ Avrupası'nda bilim.
Week 7 İslam dünyasında bilimsel çalışmalar ve bilim anlayışı.
Week 8 Ara sınavlar.
Week 9 Rönesans ve modern bilimin doğuşu.
