Course Description

As technological integration and construction complexity increase, so do construction lead times. To stay competitive companies have sought to shorten the construction times of new infrastructure by managing construction development efforts effectively by using different project management tools. To achieve this, a basic project management framework will be used in which the project life-cycle is broken into organizing, planning, monitoring, controlling and learning from old and current construction projects. Course will consider the following subjects; Introduction to project management, project management context, project management processes. Project management knowledge areas; project integration management, Project scope management, project time management, project cost management, project quality management, project human resources management, project communication management, project risk management, project procurement management.
