Course Description

The acquirement of the basic elements of child’s rights and child law covering with international child rights declaration, principles of child and general rights, national agreements and analysis of the child’s rights in the frame work of UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in Turkey, the historical progress of child’s rights both in international and national level. The relatively sudden growth in the law relating to the protection of children, including sexual offences against children and sexual offence committed by children. The development of the law relating to adoption, foster care, juvenile system, criminality, child labour and family law.
