PRACTICUM IN SPECIAL EDUCATION

Course Description

Practical Teaching in Special Education, Practical Introduction of Special Teaching and Practical Practice of theoretical knowledge given in other courses (Development in Mental Disability etc.) covered by special education. It is aimed that pupils develop their own skills in the field-related institution and it is aimed to reinforce the knowledge and skills that students have already acquired through practice in the field. This special education children will be observed in the designated institutions by reminding them about the characteristics. Later, appropriate education programs will be prepared by determining targets and achievements appropriate to their developmental needs and assessing their educational needs. Appropriate training environment and materials will be provided in the application, the prepared plans will be applied and applications will be evaluated.
