Course Description

This course includes the definition, characteristics and history of play, games and toys in Turkish culture, educators' views on play, game theories, the effects of play on children's developmental areas, stages of play depending on the child's development, types of play, games and adults, toy standards, play areas, planning play activities and material selection, play corners suitable for developmental and educational areas, monitoring and evaluating plays through observation, keeping records and preparing reports, education through play in children with different development, play tools and equipment that can be used between the ages of 0-6, examples of plays according to developmental areas between the ages of 0-6, and the play therapy method.
