Course Description

This course includes basic concepts and terminology of child development, definition and scope of duty of the profession, roles of child development specialists, legal regulations in the field of child development in Turkey, Cyprus and the world, the role of child development specialists in early diagnosis and intervention, the role of child development specialists in the field of social work, the role of child development specialists in interdisciplinary studies, professional ethics, professional non-governmental organizations and memberships, professional record keeping, reporting and archiving, and current studies in the field of child development.
